Nippon Steel increases sheet prices

Recent market news reports that, Japan steel producer Nippon Steel will increase prices of hot rolled steel sheet, cold rolled steel sheet and surface-treated steel sheet by Yen 5'000 (approximately $46) per ton, effective as of April shipments. The price increase is stated to be effected depending on the rising raw material costs and the rise of international prices.
