Nippon Steel and BHP Billiton to jointly develop mines

Japanese steel producer Nippon Steel Corporation (NSC) and Australian mining giant BHP Billiton have reached an agreement to jointly develop iron ore mines and expand existing iron ore and coking coal mines. The two companies signed such an agreement to strengthen their relations and obtain mutual benefits. According to the statement released by NSC, both companies will soon form a team to conduct joint projects.
