China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (August 31-September 6) the overall average finished steel price in China edged up slightly.
In the given week, the average prices of high-speed wire rod, welded steel pipe, rebar and steel channels edged up by 0.8 percent, 0.8 percent, 0.6 percent and 0.5 percent, respectively, week on week.
Meanwhile, on September 7, Jiangsu Province-based Nanjing Iron and Steel Group, raised its offer prices for rebar by RMB 20/mt ($2.9/mt).
