China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (June 11-17) the overall average finished steel price in China increased by 0.7 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of high-speed wire rod, rebar, common round bar and seamless steel pipe in China respectively rose by 1.1 percent, 1.0 percent, 0.7 percent and 0.6 percent, week on week.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China edged down by 0.7 percent week on week. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) decreased by 0.3 percent compared to the previous week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China increased by 0.2 percent week on week. In particular, the prices of anthracite coal and thermal coal moved up by 0.2 percent and 0.3 percent, respectively, while the price of coking coal edged down by 0.3 percent, week on week.
