China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (June 25-July 1) the overall average finished steel price in China edged down by 0.5 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of rebar, common round bar, high-speed wire rod and steel channels in China respectively decreased by 0.7 percent, 0.5 percent, 0.5 percent and 0.5 percent week on week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China increased by 0.2 percent week on week. In particular, the prices of anthracite coal and thermal coal moved up by 0.4 percent and 0.7 percent respectively, while the price of coking coal remained stable, week on week.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China edged down by 0.2 percent week on week. The average price of nickel (Ni > = 99.2%) increased by 0.3 percent compared to the previous week.
