China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (June 4-10) the overall average finished steel price in China increased by 0.5 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of rebar, common round bar and high-speed wire rod in China respectively rose by 0.6 percent, 0.5 percent and 0.5 percent, week on week.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China edged up by 2.5 percent week on week. The average price of nickel (Ni> = 99.2%) increased by 2.5 percent compared to the previous week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China increased by 0.5 percent week on week. In particular, the prices of anthracite coal, thermal coal and coking coal moved up by 0.7 percent, 0.5 percent and 0.3 percent, respectively, week on week.
