MOC: Average finished steel price in China down 0.4 percent

On December 1, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (November 24-30) the overall average finished steel price in China declined by 0.4 percent week on week.
 
In the given week, average prices of both high-speed wire rod and rebar declined by 0.5 percent week on week.
 
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China decreased by 0.2 percent compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni >= 99.2%) rose by 0.8 percent week on week.
 
In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China declined by 0.1 percent week on week. In particular, the average prices of thermal coal and anthracite coal decreased by 0.2 percent and 0.1 percent respectively, while coking coal prices remained unchanged, all week on week.
