Mobarakeh Steel increases crude steel output by 10 percent

Iranian state-owned steelmaker Mobarakeh Steel produced about 3,640,000 metric tons of crude steel in the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21-December 21), which represents an increase of 10 percent over its crude steel output of 3,350,000 mt recorded in the same period of the last Iranian year.

In the last two months, Mobarakeh Steel recorded the highest level in slab production. It has produced 452,000 mt of slab in the one month period from November 22 to December 21, while the slab production in the month before was 442,000 mt.
