MMK increases share in steel coil supplies to Russian pipe producers

Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has stated that in the January-April period this year it shipped around 0.6 million mt of hot rolled steel in coils to Russian pipe producers. The company's share in supplies of the products in question to domestic pipe manufacturers rose by six percentage points year on year to 52 percent.

MMK stated that it plans to develop its cooperation with leading pipe manufacturers. In the second half of the year, MMK aims to continue its production of hot rolled steel for current and future oil and gas pipeline projects.
