MMK increases rolled steel production by three percent in H1
In the first half of 2011, Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) increased its rolled steel output by three percent compared to the same period of last year, to 5.232 million mt, including 3.858 million mt of flat steel. In the given period, the company shipped 1.648 million mt of products for export. MMK expects that production of MMK Group will increase by 10-15 percent in 2011.
