Mexico’s economic activity in February rose 2.2 percent, year-on-year, according to data released this week by the country’s statistics agency, Inegi. On a month-on-month analysis, economic activity increase 0.1 percent.
Primary and tertiary activities in February grew 3.4 and 3.3 percent, year-on-year, respectively, while secondary activities in the same period fell 0.1 percent.
As for the month-on-month analysis, both secondary and tertiary activities improved 0.1 and 0.2 percent, however, primary activities declined 4.3 percent in February, month-on-month.
