Mexico’s economy secretariat, SE, has started an AD investigation over the imports of ferromanganese from Korea, following a request from local producer Minera Autlan.

According to SE, the period of investigation goes from July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015, while the period of analysis for damages to the local industry start on July 1, 2012 and end on June 30, 2015.

SE said Minera Autlan filed the request on November 2015, saying cheaper prices for the product affected domestic output of ferromanganese.
