The economy ministry in Mexico initiated an anti-dumping investigation against all Chinese seamless steel pipes on Wednesday. Local pipe producer TAMSA filed the investigation request in late September, asking the government to review imports between April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012. TAMSA has claimed that there has been a glut of imports from China entering the domestic Mexican market "under discriminatory price terms."
