Metinvest opens retail warehouse in Kharkiv

Ukrainian mining and steel producing group Metinvest has announced that its sales channel in Ukraine, Metinvest-SMC, has opened a retail warehouse in Kharkiv, one of the largest steel consuming regions in the country.

The company already has a trade branch and wholesale metal center in this region. The new warehouse will operate in the retail segment and fulfill orders for small lots of steel products.
The retail metal centre is conveniently located from a logistics point of view, has an indoor warehouse and six overhead cranes with lifting capacities of 5-20 mt. Its product range includes over 300 types of products manufactured by Metinvest's assets. In particular, rebar, beam, channel, angle, strip, square rod, and plates, while profiled sheets and shaped pipes will be added in the future. The center also offers rolled steel cutting services.
