Liuzhou Company announces strong orders for Q1

SteelOrbis Shanghai Guangxi province based trading company Liuzhou Import and Export Company signed export contracts for a total of 82,950 metric tons of finished steel products in the first quarter of 2006. Medium plates account for 64,170 metric tons while wire rods account for 18,780 metric tons of the export contracts. These orders are expected to provide Liuzhou with $35 million sales revenue. The company has exported 15.793 metric tons of the orders so far, with $6.14 million profit. In addition to its traditional export destinations such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore and the Philippines, Liuzhou Company also plans to add European countries such as Spain into its target markets.
