Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant’s steel pipe output up 194 percent in January-April

Ukrainian pipe producer Khartsyzsk Pipe Works (KhPW), a subsidiary of Ukraine's largest vertically-integrated mining and steel group Metinvest, has announced that in January-April this year it produced 210,000 mt of steel pipes, 194 percent higher compared to the same period of 2010. Meanwhile, KhPw's production of steel pipes in April decreased by one percent compared to March, dropping to 54,100 mt.
