Kardemir to install new dedusting systems to improve environmental protection

Turkish integrated long steel producer Kardemir Karabuk Demir Celik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. (Kardemir) has announced that it has signed agreement with Turkey-based equipment manufacturer TERMO Makine for the supply of dedusting systems for its blast furnaces. The project is planned to be completed by the end of 2018.

In addition, Kardemir has also stated that Turkish equipment manufacturer Enveks will supply another dedusting system for its coal crusher plant.

Earlier this month, Kardemir announced that it expects to complete its environmental investment program worth around TRY 193 million by the end of 2018, aiming to improve air quality and enhance environmental protection.
