JSW Steel sees increase in April crude steel output

JSW Steel, one of the largest Indian steelmakers, produced 990,000 mt of crude steel in April this year, rising 14 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
 
According to the company's statement, in April JSW Steel produced 776,000 mt of flat rolled products, up 14 percent, while its long rolled product output amounted to 164,000 mt, increasing by 28 percent, both compared to April 2013.
