Japan sees decline in steel exports

The preliminary data released by the Japan's Ministry of Finance show that the country's steel exports fell 9.3% year on year to 2.68 million tons in April. Exports account for about one-third of Japan's steel production. Meanwhile, Japan's steel imports rose 51.6% year on year to 866'673 tons in April.
