Italy's crude steel output down eight percent in July

In July this year, Italian crude steel output decreased by eight percent year on year to 1.927 million metric tons, declining for the 10th consecutive month on year-on-year basis, while in the first seven months of the year the output figure amounted to 13.645 million mt, down 10.2 percent year on year, according to the figures released by the Italian steel producers association Federacciai.
 
Italian crude steel output in July of the current year was also lower compared to the crude steel outputs of 2.636 million mt in July 2011, 2.405 million mt in July 2012 and 2.115 million mt in July 2013.
