Italy-based Brembo completes $207 million expansion to auto parts plant in Mexico

Italian auto parts manufacturer Brembo, producing braking systems for automobiles and motorcycles, inaugurated the expansion of its factory in the city of Escobedo, Nuevo Leon, where it invested $207 million and created 500 new jobs, informed the state governor, Samuel García.

Now with 1,600 workers, Brembo will increase its market share in the USMCA region in the original and aftermarket. The new plant has an extension of 30 thousand square meters.

Brembo is a multinational corporation that operates in 15 countries, plus a total of 8 research laboratories, 30 production and business sites through which it sells its own products in over 70 countries worldwide.

Its brands are Brembo, Breco, ByBre and Marchesini, and it also operates through the AP Racing brand.
