According to the information released by Port Hedland Port Authority, in May of the current year iron ore shipments made from Port Hedland to China amounted to 31.6 million metric tons, falling by 2.9 percent compared to the previous month and remaining stable year on year. South Korea and Japan followed China in May, receiving 3.82 million mt and 2.58 million mt respectively.
