Iran’s state-owned mines produce 17.96 million mt of iron ore in eight months
Iranian state-owned iron ore miners have exploited about 26.96 million mt of run of mine iron ore and produced 17.96 million mt of iron ore in the first eight months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2010). These figures represent increases of 25 percent and four percent respectively compared to same period of the previous Iranian year, Iranian sources said.
