India’s SAIL sees 53% decline in consolidated net profit in Q2 of FY 2025-26

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) achieved consolidated net profit of INR 4.2 billion ($47.40 million) in the second quarter (July-September) of fiscal 2025-26, a decline of 53 percent over the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, according to a company statement on Thursday, October 30.

The company reported a total income of INR 269.1 billion ($3.05 billion) during the quarter, a rise of 8 percent.
