India’s NMDC records 74 percent rise in iron ore output in April

Indian government-run miner NMDC Limited achieved iron ore production of 3.13 million mt in April this year, up 74 percent over the corresponding month of the previous year, a company statement said on Tuesday, May 4.

The company said that its total iron ore sales during the month were recorded at 3.09 million mt, up from 1.38 million mt during the corresponding month of the previous year.
