Indian government-run miner NMDC Limited achieved iron ore production of 5.35 million mt in March 2026, a rise of 50.7 percent year on year, according to a company statement on Thursday, April 2.
Total iron ore production in the fiscal year 2025-26 stood at 53.15 million mt, a rise of 21 percent year on year and the highest-ever annual production, the company said.
NMDC Limited’s sales in March 2026 were reported at 5.90 million mt a growth of 40 percent year on year.
Total sales during the fiscal year 2025-26 amounted to 50.23 million mt, 13 percent higher year on year.
