India’s NMDC Limited sees 8.6% fall in iron ore output in December

Indian state-run miner NMDC Limited achieved iron ore production of 3.61 million mt in December last year, a decline of 8.6 percent from the corresponding month of the previous year, a company statement said on Monday, January 2.

The miner reported total ore sales of 3.32 million mt in December, down 2.3 percent year on year.

Ore production in December, however, was 9.2 percent higher than that achieved in November, the company said.
