India’s NMDC Limited sees 19 percent rise in iron ore output in July

India’s state-run NMDC Limited achieved iron ore production of 2.44 million mt in July this year, a growth of 19 percent over the corresponding month of the previous year, according to a company statement on Wednesday, August 2.

The miner achieved total sales of 3.03 million mt in July this year, a rise of 2.7 percent year on year, the statement said.

During the first four months (April-July) of the fiscal year 2023-24, NMDC Limited recorded an aggregate iron ore output of 13.15 million mt, up 20 percent year on year, while total sales came to 14.18 million mt, up 33.5 percent year on year.
