India’s NMDC Limited reports 11% rise in iron ore output in October

Indian state-run miner NMDC Limited achieved iron ore production of 3.92 million mt in October this year, up 11 percent year on year, according to a company statement on Thursday, November 2.

The company reported sales of 3.44 million mt, up 11 percent year on year.

During the April-October period of the fiscal year 2023-24, NMDC achieved cumulative iron ore production of 23.48 million mt, 19 percent higher year on year.

Sales during the April-October period of 2023-24 was recorded at 23.99 million mt, up 23 percent year on year.
