India’s LMEL reports 62% rise in net profit in Q2 FY 2023-24

Indian sponge iron and iron ore miner Lloyds Energy and Metals Limited (LEML) has reported a consolidated net profit of INR 2.3 billion ($27.79 million) during the second quarter (July-September) of the fiscal year 2023-24, up 62 percent over the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, according to a company statement on Tuesday, October 24.

The company achieved total consolidated revenues of INR 11.1 billion ($133.56 million) during the quarter, up 61.90 percent over the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
