India’s Jindal Steel Limited (JSL) has reported a consolidated net profit of INR 10.41 billion ($109.62 million) in the fourth quarter (January-March) of the fiscal year 2025-26, against a net loss of INR 3.04 billion ($32.0 million) in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, according to a company regulatory filing on Monday, May 4.
The company achieved a total income of INR 164.84 billion ($1.74 billion) during the quarter, a rise of 25 percent year on year.
The company said that production was up 14 percent year on year during the quarter to 9.25 million mt, while sales were up nine percent year on year to 8.68 million mt.
