India’s GIPL sees 58% fall in consolidated net profit in Q4 FY 2022-23

Indian iron ore pellet and steel producer Godavari Ispat and Power Limited (GIPL) has reported a consolidated net profit of INR 1.69 billion ($20.47 million) in the fourth quarter (January-March) of the fiscal year 2022-23, a decline of 58.3 percent over the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, a company regulatory filing said on Tuesday, May 23.

The company reported total sales revenues of INR 13.16 billion ($159 million) during the quarter, down 8.44 percent year on year.

During the full fiscal year 2022-23, GIPL posted a consolidated net profit of INR 7.93 billion ($95.82 million), a fall of 46.6 percent, and total revenues of INR 57.53 billion ($694.80 million), up 6.6 percent, year on year, the company statement said.
