India’s coking coal import port traffic up 11 percent in April

India’s coking coal import traffic through all major ports in the country in April this year has been provisionally estimated at 4.572 million mt, up 11.32 percent year on year, data sourced from the Indian Ports Association (IPA) showed on Friday, May 5.

According to the IPA data, the total iron ore freight traffic through ports, including pellets, has been estimated at 4.712 million mt in April this year, a decline of 12.55 percent year on year.
