Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), an operational subsidiary of Indian government-run Coal India Limited (CIL), achieved coking coal production of 2.18 million mt in August 2026, a rise of 2.8 percent over the corresponding month of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing on Thursday, September 3.
BCCL reported that its total washed coal output during the month was 0.11 million mt, a rise of 13.8 percent year on year.
