Indian crude steel production up 6 percent in July

Indian crude steel production during July 2018 was recorded at 8.73 million mt, up six percent over the corresponding month of the previous year, according to data published by Joint Plant Committee (JPC), under ministry of steel and sole official compiler of industry data.

According to JPC data, Indian pig iron production during July 2018 was recorded at 490,000 mt, up nine percent over the corresponding month of the previous year.
