Hunan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hunan Valin Iron & Steel Co. (Hunan Valin Steel) has announced respective pig iron, crude steel and finished steel outputs of 9.14 million mt, 11.10 million mt and 10.46 million mt for the January-July period of the current year.
In July alone, its pig iron, crude steel and finished steel outputs amounted to 1.44 million mt, 1.74 million mt and 1.65 million mt, respectively, creating the historical high level in July.
