Heavy truck sales in China down 5 percent in May from April

In May this year, heavy truck sales (including chassis and tractors) in China amounted to 83,000 units, down 5.0 percent month on month, while increasing by 6.0 percent year on year, according to the preliminary data issued by cvworld.cn, a Chinese auto industry information service provider. 

In the January-May period this year, heavy truck sales (including chassis and tractors) in China totaled 435,500 units, increasing by 1.0 percent year on year.
