Germany’s Stahlwerk Annahütte to improve special steel bar quality with new waling-beam furnace

Italian plantmaker Danieli has announced that it will supply walking-beam furnace to German special steel producer Stahlwerk Annahütte Max Aicher to be installed in Ainring-Hammerau.

The furnace which is a part of a broader modernization strategy will improve the quality of special steel bars.

The new furnace with a capacity of 80 mt per hour is scheduled to start operating by September 2024.
