Gazprom purchases pipes worth a total of RUB 15 billion

Russian state gas monopoly Gazprom has announced that it has purchased steel pipes with a total value of RUB 15 billion (approx. $0.323 billion) for delivery in the first half of 2015.

Pipe Innovation Technologies, which specializes in the packaged supply of tubular goods for construction, reconstruction and repair of oil and gas transportation and storage systems, will supply pipes worth a total of RUB 6.9 billion ($148.6 million), constituting 46 percent of the overall value of the tender in question.

In addition, Russia-based TMK, one of the world's leading oil and gas steel pipe producers, will supply steel pipes worth a total of RUB 1.8 billion ($38.8 million), ChTPZ Group's Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant will supply pipes worth RUB 2.85 billion ($61.4 million), while Vyksa Steel Works, a part of Russia-based OMK Group, will supply pipes worth RUB 3.5 billion ($75.4 million).
