France's steel product export value up 11.3 percent in January

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in January this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €751.25 million, rising by 11.3 percent year on year.
 
During the month in question, France exported €155.1 million of steel pipes and tubes - up 5.5 percent, €51.52 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 7.8 percent, €31.47 million of cold drawn wire - up by 8.6 percent, €30.01 million of cold rolled steel bars - up 17.7 percent, and €40.68 million of metal structures and parts - down by 2.7 percent, all compared to the same month of 2016.
