France’s steel product export value down 12.4 percent in Jan-Mar

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-March period this year France’s basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €2.54 billion, decreasing by 12.4 percent year on year.

In the given period, France exported €338.83 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 4.0 percent, €118.18 million of cold rolled steel bars - down by 30.0 percent, €218.74 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 22.1 percent, €85.88 million of cold drawn wire - decreasing by 17.5 percent, and €221.78 million of metal structures and parts - down by 4.4 percent, all compared to the same period of 2023.
