Final results of sunset reviews on pipes from various countries

On July 1, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated the second sunset reviews of the antidumping duty orders on certain circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from India, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey, and circular welded non-alloy steel pipes imported from Brazil, South Korea, Mexico, and Taiwan. On the basis of adequate responses from domestic interested parties and inadequate responses from respondent interested parties, the DOC conducted expedited (120-day) sunset reviews. As a result of these reviews, the DOC determined that the revocation of the antidumping duty orders would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping. The dumping margins for the subject countries are as follows:
