The European Commission has published an expiry notice for the antidumping duties on steel and iron tube and
pipe fittings from South
Korea,
Malaysia, and
Russia.
The European Commission (EC) had previously imposed antidumping duties on steel and iron tube and
pipe fittings imported from South
Korea,
Malaysia, and
Russia, under the scope of the Council Regulation dated December 22, 1995, regarding protection against dumped imports from countries not members of the European Community.
The EC has recently announced that community producers may lodge a written request for a review. This request must contain sufficient evidence that the expiry of the measures would be likely to result in a continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury.
The EC has indicated that unless a review is initiated under certain procedures, the antidumping orders on steel and iron tube and
pipe fittings imported from South
Korea,
Malaysia, and
Russia will expire on August 25, 2007.
