The European Commission has announced that it has initiated an expiry review of the antidumping (AD) duty on certain tube and pipe fittings originating in Turkey, Russia, South Korea and Malaysia.

The application for the review was filed by the Defence Committee of the Steel Butt-Welding Fittings Industry, alleging that the expiry of the measures would be likely to result in continuation and/or recurrence of dumping and continuation and/or recurrence of injury to the EU industry. The investigation of a continuation or recurrence of dumping will cover the year 2017.

The products under review currently falls within CN codes ex 7307 93 11, ex 7307 93 19 and ex 7307 99 80
