In the first five months of the current year, Ukrainian metallurgical company Dneprospetsstal (DSS) posted an 18 percent year-on-year increase in its crude steel production to 176,000 mt. The company's output of finished steel in the same period went up by 19 percent compared to January-May 2010, rising to 113,000 mt.
Dneprospetsstal's activities cover the design, manufacture and distribution of stainless, tool, high-speed, bearing and alloy structural steel products. DSS' products are used in the manufacture of machinery parts, tools for metal and alloy machining, seamless pipes and bearings.
