Daye Special Steel posts increased net profit for H1

On August 17, Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Daye Special Steel Co.(Daye Special Steel) announced that in the first half of the current year it registered an operating revenue of RMB 3.04485 billion ($0.48 billion), down 20.02 percent year on year, while it achieved a net profit of RMB 138.77 million ($21.68 million), up 5.42 percent year on year.

In the first half of the current year, Daye Special Steel produced 531,400 mt of crude steel and 665,300 mt of finished steel, decreasing by 7.27 percent and 4.55 percent respectively, while it sold 658,800 mt of finished steel, down 5.62 percent, all year on year.
