CSN maintains sustainability certifications

Brazilian steelmaker Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN) has maintained several sustainability certifications, according to a media report.

Those include the ISO 9001:2015 certification, which specifies requirements for a quality management system, and the IATF 16949:2016 certification which defines requirements for a quality management system for companies involved or supplying the automotive industry.

Both certifications were awarded to the company’s Presidente Vargas mill, located in Volta Redonda, Rio de Janeiro state.
