Brazilian steelmaker Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN) said this week it has offered $1 billion in debt notes due in 2028.

CSN said it will liquidate the notes on January 28, 2020, and the debt notes will pay a 6.75 percent yield per year.

The company said it will use the proceeds of the debt notes to repurchase senior unsecured guaranteed notes due in 2020 issued by its subsidiary, CSN Resources.
