CSN, Glencore may reach second iron ore deal

Brazilian steelmaker Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN) might close a second iron ore deal with Glencore, local media Valor said this week. According to CSN CEO Benjamin Steinbruch, the deal should be signed next week.

The deal would reach about $250 million, the executive said, without providing further details. CSN closed a similar recent deal for the supply of iron ore, which was worth $500 million.
