CSC’s operating revenue up 2.83 percent in February from January

Taiwan's largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that in February this year its carbon steel sales volume decreased slightly by 0.63 percent to 841,034 metric tons compared to January, accounting for 65 percent of domestic sales. During the first two months of the current year, the company's carbon steel sales volume amounted to 1.68 million mt, accounting for 65 percent of domestic sales.
 
In February, CSC's operating revenues amounted to NTD 25.86 billion ($850.47 million), up by 2.83 percent month on month. In the given month, the company’s operating income totaled NTD 1.7 billion ($56.09 million), rising by 4.4 percent compared to the previous month.
